So I know its been hit and miss with me on this blog, but
im going to give it another go 'round and see if i can't do it
consistently this time. It's been a long time since my blog has had any
work done to it, but being the fans you are I'm sure you already know most
of the big news. How we lost to phoenix in the playoffs, how Kevin
Pritchard was fired. How we traded Martel Webster for the draft pick that ended up being Luke
babbit and Ryan
Gomes, then cut Ryan
Gomes.
I'm sure you've formed your opinion of Paul Allen the
Vulcans by now. I'm going to touch on all that even if some of it is late, I'll tell you my personal feelings on each situation. The main reason I started back up was
because as of 9:01 PST, teams are allowed to talk to free agents. While the Blazers probably won't be in play for the heavy hitting names, they will for sure be in the running for some nice pieces that can help this team. So basically I just wanted to put this blog out to let you know what I'm working on,
i'm going to keep you up to date on any
signings, trades or combination of the two that take place. Rumors will be posted as well
because I love me a good rumor. We, as Blazers fan, are entering some unknown territory. We have no GM, we have questions about health and rotation. We have some money to play with and it looks as tho for the first
time we might actually do that. It's a bit scary and I've heard people say we're on the
down slide and that our fun little run is over before it began. I don't think this is true and hopefully I'm right, but nevertheless this is
definitely going to be an interesting time. It's times like these tho, that We need to show our support to our team. We need to show people what Rip City is all about. so even tho we're not sure how everything is going to go down and we're not sure why some things have already gone down, we just need to chill, settled down, and watch. Hope for the best and see what happens from here. Whatever happens tho, my fellow
Blazermaniacs, the Red, Black and White will be flying around the court next year, and there will still be a building of pinwheel
wielding maniacs there to support that. Go Blazers!
